Nancy Lentz


Nancy received a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a political science major from the University of Alberta in 2006 along with a Certificate in Globalization and Governance. After graduation, Nancy worked as a policy advisor for the Provincial Government of Alberta as part of a team focused on Affordable Housing. Her team was awarded the Bronze Premier’s Award of Excellence, for the work they completed on Alberta’s Housing Strategy project.

In 2008 Nancy started working as a paralegal for Goldsmith Lawyers, in Sydney, Australia, while attending law school. In 2010 Nancy received a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Sydney. Nancy stayed in Australia as a Graduate-at-Law for 6 months before returning to Canada.

As a law student Nancy worked in the industry garnering a wealth of knowledge in many practice areas. In 2011 Nancy returned to Canada, and took a job as a paralegal with Bennett Jones LLP in Edmonton. In 2012, Nancy received a Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee of Accreditation of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada, which allowed her to continue her law career in Canada. She then articled at a family law firm in Calgary from November 2013 until May 2015 when she was called to the bar. Nancy then opened her own practice July 2015.

Nancy puts her natural talent as a problem solver to work every day in her practice. It is important to Nancy to be available to her clients when they need her and to help them work through their legal matters to a satisfactory conclusion. Nancy enjoys using her natural talents as a problem solver to efficiently help her clients in the areas of divorce, child custody, child support, parenting, spousal support, wills, estates and residential real estate. She works closely with her clients in a client-centred approach bolstered by efficient time management to maximize the use of resources and avoid delays, unnecessary costs, and increased frustration in an already stressful time.

Nancy co-founded the B-Rad Foundation. The foundation raises funds to support outstanding individuals in the community. Nancy has and continues to support various organizations including MADD and Alberta Daschund Rescue.
