Tamara Adderley

Summer Student

Tamara began her legal career as a legal assistant and spent six years working for a senior family law lawyer. While working and raising 3 children, Tamara earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Athabasca University. She returned to school full-time in 2014 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society before being accepted into the JD Law Program at the University of Calgary. She is currently entering her third year of law school and will begin articles in 2019. Tamara is passionate about family law and about helping those navigate the legal system during difficult periods in their life. Her background, education and experience make her qualified to assist in resolving legal disputes efficiently and at a low cost. Tamara has appeared in the Provincial Court of Alberta on family matters during her time as a volunteer law student with Student Legal Assistance at the University of Calgary. She also has experience in a wide range of family disputes and extensive knowledge of the legal process itself. Tamara understands and is sensitive to the difficulties that come with a family law dispute. Tamara will work hard and use her resourcefulness and experience to bring legal disputes to a resolution in a cost-effective manner.
